MMR vaccine

Combined vaccine against measles, mumps and rubella, given as part of the UK primary immunisation programme. Uptake dropped following discredited research claiming there was a link between MMR vaccine and development of autism. Some parents elect to have the three vaccinations separately, but fear of ‘overloading’ the infant’s immune system are unfounded.
