Asthma UK is looking for nurses who help asthma patients to take part in a short survey, which it will use to help improve asthma care in England. Earlier this year, the charity surveyed more than 9,000 people with asthma in England and found that three quarters were putting themselves at an increased risk of an asthma attack because they were cutting back on their vital asthma medication due to the cost of prescriptions. Asthma UK is keen to hear views from all nurses in the UK, even those in Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland where prescriptions are free, to understand the impact prescription costs or free prescriptions can have on patients.
